Assistant Media Relations Director
Illinois State University invites applications for the position of Assistant Media Relations Director. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Working as primary media contact for both football and active/social media; garnering publicity for the department’s community service projects; supervising undergraduate student staff; assisting with men and women’s basketball game day operations.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Preferred qualifications include: A minimum of four years experience in intercollegiate media relations/sports information work; extensive experience in desktop publishing on InDesign and PhotoShop software; experience in writing; editing and designing effective publications; experience in maintaining a website; knowledge of photographic scanning; familiarity with Stat Crew software; strong communication skills.
