Illinois State University invites applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Head Coach in the areas of recruiting quality student-athletes, administrative responsibilities, scouting, team practices, and public relations. Incumbent will effectively communicate and interact with alumni, administrators, parents, student-athletes and the Head Coach.

Qualifications: Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and have proven organizational ability. The successful candidate also must have computer skills with knowledge of statistics, video input, and video breakdown. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is preferred. Also, preferred candidate will have a thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, Board of Trustees, University and State regulations and policies to assure control and compliance. A successful candidate must pass the NCAA recruiting examination each year. Coaching and/or teaching experience in volleyball, preferably at the collegiate level, is required.
